Game Rules Organizer: Hotel Rum Kft. (registered office: 1051 Budapest, Október 6 utca 8.), hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer.”

  1. General Provisions The promotion titled “PRIZE GAME” (hereinafter referred to as the “Promotion”) is organized by Hotel Rum Kft. (registered office: 1051 Budapest, Október 6 utca 8.).

  2. Promotional Mechanism and Participation Conditions Promotional Mechanism Between 2025.03.30 and 2025.04.14, a prize game called “PRIZE GAME” will run on the Hotel Gin Budapest Facebook/Instagram page (hotelgin_budapest). During this period, participants must tag the hotelgin_budapest Instagram page in accordance with the game announcement between 2025.03.30 and 2025.04.13 at 23:59. Images submitted after this deadline will not be included in the draw.

  3. Prizes Courtesy of Hotel Gin Budapest, one Accommodation Package will be drawn among the participants. The accommodation package includes: 2 nights in a Comfy room type for 2 people, with breakfast at the Solid Brunch Restaurant. At the end of the game, 1 winner will be drawn. The winner will receive the prize via email after prior agreement. The right to make changes is reserved.

  4. Participation Conditions Only individuals over 18 years of age with real data registered Facebook/Instagram profiles can participate in the prize game. Participation in the game requires completing the task outlined in the promotional mechanism in Point 1 and complying with the moderation principles of the page announcing the promotion. The uploaded content must comply with the following moderation principles: It is prohibited to write comments or send images that: • Are vulgar, obscene, threatening, abusive, harassing, or dangerous. • Infringe on others’ rights, contain defamatory content, or are false or unlawful. • Offend minority, religious, racial, national, or sexual identities. • Are illegal: violate current laws, incite crimes, or include calls for action. • Are in bad taste, pornographic, depict authoritarian symbols, or link to such websites. • Infringe on patent, trademark, origin, or design protection. • Violate copyright or neighboring rights. • Disclose income data. • Promote violence or depict violent acts. Only those participants who fully comply with the participation conditions are eligible for the draw.

  5. Exclusions The following persons are excluded from the prize game: Hotel Rum Kft.’s executive officers, employees, agents, and their close relatives as defined in Section 685 (b) of the Civil Code. The Organizer reserves the right to unilaterally modify or terminate the prize game or its conditions even during the game. Any modifications or notices regarding the termination of the game will be published on the Hotel Gin Budapest Facebook and Instagram pages. Players are responsible for staying informed about these changes. For any questions or complaints regarding the prize game, information is provided through the Hotel Gin Budapest Facebook and Instagram pages. Participation in the Promotion is voluntary and free of charge, and participants may withdraw at any time during the promotion. Withdrawal can be initiated by sending a private message to the Hotel Gin Budapest Instagram page. Participation implies automatic acceptance of this official regulation and the Privacy Statement.

  6. Invalid Applications Any application that does not meet the participation conditions outlined in this game regulation and fails to comply with the promotional mechanism specified in Point 2 will be deemed invalid.

  7. Game Duration The game will be announced on 2025.04.14 and ends on 2025.04.13.

  8. Selection of Winners The prize detailed in Point 3 will be drawn among posts tagging the Hotel Gin Budapest Instagram page. The prize draw will take place on 2025.04.14. The results will be announced thereafter via Instagram Story on the Hotel Gin Budapest Instagram page, and the winners will be contacted via private message.

  9. Conditions for Receiving Prizes and Awards Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Winners will be contacted via Instagram private message. If the winner has limited legal capacity, they may only handle matters related to the prize or claim the prize with their legal representative. If the winner lacks legal capacity, only their legal representative may act on their behalf. Additionally, winners must respond within 30 business days after selection to claim their prize. Failure to do so will result in a substitute winner being chosen. Winners will be announced via private message on the Hotel Gin Budapest Instagram page, Instagram Story, or a separate post. The Organizer assumes no responsibility for any damages or consequences caused by incorrect or erroneous data provided by the Participant.

  10. Prize-Related Payments Participants in this promotion are not subject to personal income tax or duty payment obligations regarding the prizes; these are covered by the Organizer. The Organizer determines and pays the personal income tax advance to the relevant tax authority according to applicable tax laws. Any additional costs related to claiming or using the prizes are the responsibility of the winning Player.

  11. Data Processing The Organizer is Hotel Rum Kft. (registered office: 1051 Budapest, Október 6 utca 8.) Player: anyone who posts about the “PRIZE GAME” on their Facebook/Instagram page or participates in any prize game organized by the Data Controller. The purposes of data processing and legal basis, as well as the data processed, include:

  • Registration for participation in the Draw

  • Communication during the Draw

  • Conducting the Draw

  • Verifying participation eligibility Scope of data processed: contact details provided for communication purposes. Legal basis for processing: the consent of the Data Subject. Consent Declaration: By participating in the prize game, the Data Subject explicitly consents to data processing without additional written permission. The Data Controller processes data from 2025.03.30 until the prizes are awarded. Afterward, the contact database will be deleted. Participants can request information, correction, or deletion of their personal data by contacting hello@hotelginbudapest.com.

  1. Disclaimer None of the companies involved in organizing the Promotion are responsible for any claims related to the costs, damages, or losses arising from the Promotion. If a player submits content unlawfully, the Organizer excludes them from the Promotion. The Organizer is not responsible for unauthorized content or incorrectly provided data. The Organizer assumes no responsibility for technical errors. The Organizer reserves the right to modify these official rules if deemed necessary. Players will be notified of any changes through the Hotel Gin Budapest Instagram page. By submitting their entry, players acknowledge and accept all conditions set out in this game regulation.
